About Judith

I am a counsellor, group facilitator, singer and mother. My work is dedicated to supporting women in the early years of motherhood. Aside from learning to care for and bond with a baby, motherhood is about navigating matrescence: the transition in identity, body, mind, and spirit that reshapes us from maiden to mother. This journey can be beautiful, but also deeply overwhelming. In my work I create warm and safe places for mothers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and other women.

I offer individual counselling and group programs.

My approach is gentle, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw on practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), while always keeping your lived experience at the centre. As both a counsellor and a mother, I know how important it is to feel seen, supported, and connected. My hope is that in working together, you’ll find more space for kindness toward yourself, and within your motherhood journey.

Confidential, supportive and evidence-based Telehealth sessions where you can explore your emotions, challenges, and hopes with compassion.

I offer 1:1 sessions at $150 per session.

I provide Telehealth sessions via secure platform Halaxy.

I do not currently offer In Person Sessions or Medicare rebates.

Tender Transitions: Self-Compassion for Mothers - PILOT

An online 6-week wellbeing group program that combines guided practices, journalling, and connection with other mothers of young children under 5. My women’s and mothers’ circles aim to bring women together in community to share connection, support and wisdom. Places are limited to keep the group intimate.

In this program you will learn to:

  • Break free from self-criticism, guilt and shame by becoming tenderly and fiercely self-compassionate.

  • Find space to pause, connect, and learn practical tools of self-compassion to carry into everyday life.

  • Bolster your confidence to take on the challenges of motherhood with grace and compassion.

Next group commencing 10:30am - 12pm Wednesday 22 April 2026 via Zoom.
